By pressing the main window the key combination Control + Shift + F or via the View the Quick search… the quick search window is called up.

Here you can quickly enter a search term you want to search for within all text fields. The search is performed using the If operator, the use of wildcards is allowed.

If the entered search term is a valid numeric value, then all numeric, date and time fields are also searched using the Equals operator. For date fields, specifically the Day, Month and Year components searched, for time fields specifically the Second, Minute and Hour searched. When determining whether the value is numeric, any start and end wildcards present are ignored.

The search query is not saved and is only available as long as the resulting object list is not closed.

The following hotkeys are valid across the entire window, they do not depend on the focus on a particular component
